born in bergen (norway) to an american mother and swedish father my background is quite international. currently in denmark, i have lived in norway, austria, germany, russia and spent extended periods in the usa, sweden and france. due to my background it may not be too surprising that i am fluent in english, norwegian, swedish, german, russian and esperanto.
even though my father has spoken esperanto since he was 17 i learned esperanto as a teenager and have since become active in the esperanto community making it to president of the world esperanto youth, tejo
music has always been central in my life. having played the piano and the tuba i settled for the trumpet and have been active in several formations ranging from big band to ska / ska-punk. currently i am active in "the understudies", a cool ska band from copenhagen.
my other hobbies include growing carnivorous plants (and soon lithops), photography, cooking and traveling
